Grand Knight’s Message
As you read this, we have just about finished our 1st month of the new year. We completed our 1st event which is the annual Summer Social. Nice to see everyone who made it.
Next, I am going tell you that we are hosting a very important event this summer and that is the Supreme Convention. We are the hosts and need many, many volunteers to help make it a success. Without the proper help, we’ll not only let our State down; but also our brother knights who are visiting us from all over the world. We are still in need of an excess of 150 volunteers for Hierarchy Transportation (Bringing Bishops to & from airport); along with greeters at the Airports, hotels, & convention center. As a greeter you can sit down if you would like and even be accompanied by your wife. You’ll each be provided with a polo shirt to wear during your volunteer shift. I ask you to consider helping and if you have any questions or need assistance in signing up, please reach out to me. Don’t let your Brother Knights down!!!

In addition if you don’t have time to help, you can still partake in the many events the Supreme Convention. There is the opening mass with 100+ bishops, 10-12 cardinals, & hundreds of priests. This is something so incredible, some of us may not get to see it again in our home state. Do miss your chance to attend and enlighten yourself with Brother Knights from around the world.

Finally, I mentioned last year that we are trying new things and working on becoming a better, growing council. Some upcoming new events are Summer Breakfast Bingo on August 18th & Soccer Challenge on August 24th. Note: As most dates are set, some are subject to change. Watch the monthly newsletter for updates.
