Grand Knight’s Message
Brother Knights,
Happy 2025,
We had our Christmas party on December 19th. It was fun to see you all there. The knights then hosted a Christmas light tour on December 20th. Due to some mechanical issues the heat on the bus was not working properly, but in spite of that, that was a fun time too.
Looking forward,
The Knights are working with Cindy Novak and Deacon Joe to host Theology on Tap at Torg Brewery. We are trying to find topics to discuss at each meeting. Topics can be about anything in our faith. For example, one topic could be, the differences between the different monastic and friar orders, another topic could be what is the day in the life of a bishop like. If any of the membership can think of any topics to discuss please email them to me before the officers meeting on January 2nd.
On January 12th we have a second Sunday breakfast. Please sign up to help for a shift.
We also have our Concertina Bowl coming up on January 25th, please sign up to help with that as well.
I hope to see you all there.

Vivat Jesus!

Auxiliary News
Happy New Year Auxilians and families,

Prayers you have a Safe, Happy and Blessed New Year. It is very hard to believe that we are through 2024, and off to new adventures in 2025 already!

At the December meeting/Christmas party the ladies had a fun time chatting and enjoying the meal and goodies that were shared. It was a great evening of time spent together. The ladies met very briefly at the Christmas party. We talked a little about donating money to the Church, the jacket order, and the Ladies State Convention.
We have also agreed to meet in January, specifically to discuss the Convention we are hosting in April.
January – we will not be doing the coat check at the
Concertina bowl. Please volunteer to help out in any other area, if able.

Prayer intentions are for Sarah Grace W., Joe H., Diane, Denise, Karen, Marian, and Tim G. Prayers for those intentions held deep within our hearts. Praying that 2025 is a great year for all.

Yours in Christ,
Elyssa Bliss, President

Financial Secretary (FS) Notes
As of today, we have seven members who will be receiving or have received the Knight Alert notice. Soon phone calls will be made so please send in your dues as soon as you can. Questions contact me.

Have you moved, have you changed your phone number, have you made a change to your email address? Please keep the council updated when you have a change of address, change of phone number and finally a change to your email. It really helps us to keep track of where to send things to you. If you have any changes, please forward them onto the FS.

Please look at the back of your membership card. What do you see? It has my contact info. Please make sure your loved ones know this in case you are sick or have passed away.

Former Officers
The FS is looking for Council Jewels that you may have in your possession. Please turn them in as soon as possible. Bring them to the office at St. Tim’s, we have a mail slot that they can be left in. Thank you.

Members in hospital etc.?
Please contact the FS so the council can send a card out.

Raffle Ticket Letter
You will be receiving a fundraiser letter along with a couple of Knight Foundation raffle tickets in January. Money raised from those raffle tickets are used for donations that the Raffle Foundation picks. Half of that money raised does come back to us to be used how we want it to be used. Please think about buying and sending back the sold tickets to me. The other piece is donations to a few different things that our council supports. Look for the mailing next month. Thank you.
