Grand Knight’s Message
Brother Knights,
At the Christmas party this year, we were happy to welcome two new Brother Knights, James Myhrer & Dan Person. We are grateful you have chosen to join our council and share your time, and talents with us. We look forward to growing together in charity, unity, and fraternity as we deepen the impacts we can make in our parish and community.

I would ask our other brother knights to introduce themselves and help make our new members feel welcome.

At the Christmas party a few people asked for the recipe to the Fruit Yogurt Whipping Cream Jello Salad that I made.

Here it is:
Fruit Yogurt Whipping Cream Jello Salad
Ingredients:
· Small package partially thawed raspberries.
· 6 oz small vanilla instant pudding (I get two 3.6 oz Jello Brand packages and use the whole thing)
· 1 Pt whipping cream + ¼ cup granulated sugar
· 1 tsp vanilla
· 1 x 32 oz vanilla yogurt (You can sub Greek vanilla yogurt for a little tangier dessert.)
Directions:
1. Mix pudding and yogurt into a bowl and whisk together
2. In another bowl whip cream until almost done whipping, then add sugar and vanilla. Whip again for several seconds until mixed.
3. Fold shipping cream into yogurt mixture until well mixed.
4. Fold raspberries into the mixture until all is well folded together.
5. Refrigerate overnight.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Vivat Jesus!

Safe Environment
The parish has asked us to provide regular training on Safe- Environment Guidelines for those that volunteer with us at Knights of Columbus events. Beginning this month, we will include these guidelines in the guidepost as an ongoing reference, outlining best practices for maintaining a safe and respectful environment. Please read the attachment at the end of the Guidepost to familiarize yourself with these guidelines.

Auxiliary News
Hello Ladies,
I want to thank everyone who came to our Christmas Party/December meeting. It was good to see everyone before the holidays. Special thanks go to Bev for allowing us to use the party room at her place for this meeting. We all enjoyed some holiday snacks and wrapped the presents for the families we adopted through the church.
Thank you, Ladies, for providing a good budget for Sandy, Elyssa, and I to shop with. I am hoping the gifts brought some joy to those families in these tough times.
It was also great to see everyone at the Knight's Christmas Party the following week.
Our next meeting is not until February, so stay safe and warm until then. Please keep an eye on your emails as I will send out more information about our "Respect for Life" project when I hear back from the Children's Hospital Social Work/Child's Life team.
Best wishes,

Jenny Resler

FS Notes
Have you moved, have you changed your phone number, have you made a change to your email address? Please keep the council updated when you have a change of address, change of phone number and finally a change to your email. It really helps us to keep track of where to send things to you. If you have any changes, please forward them onto the FS.

Please look at the back of your membership card. What do you see? It has my contact info. Please make sure your loved ones know this in case you are sick or have passed away.

Former Officers,
The FS is looking for Council Jewels that you may have in your possession. Please turn them in as soon as possible. Bring them to the office at St. Tim’s, we have a mail slot that they can be left in. Thank you.

Members in hospital etc.?
Please contact the FS so that the council can send a card.

Here is a reminder to send me your service hours as often as you would like. Many hours go by each day that we never hear about. Each day we each volunteer our time doing something above and beyond.
