Grand Knight’s Message
Brother Knights,

We just wrapped up our 2025 coat drive. It was a much better turnout than last year, nearly cleaning out all of our inventory of kids’ coats. A principal from a school downtown reached out to us concerning winter gear for the kids at his school; so, the remaining coats, hats, and gloves may be sent there.

Thank you to everyone who helped out at the steak fry. Thank you to Al for chairing the event.

Our next Second Sunday Breakfast is November 9th. Please sign up with Ken Resler or Don Hosford if you are able to
volunteer.

I am hoping to have more information about the 2025 Christmas Light Tour in the next month.

Vivat Jesus!

Auxiliary News
Bonjour (Hello) Ladies,

I would like to thank everyone who attended our steak fry and social. It was great to see our community out and together. I would also like to thank our speaker from BirthRight Minnesota. They discussed how their organization helps individuals and families with pregnancy and young children, ranging from newborn baskets to clothes to diapers, to helping connect individuals and families to other organizations. She also discussed how they are a volunteer based organization and welcome any kind of help.

In our meeting, we welcomed two new members, Carol Johnson and Carrie Myhrer. Please help me welcome these two ladies as they join us at a bit of a busy point in our year. Our biggest discussion from this meeting was the finalization of items for Turkey BINGO. Turkey BINGO is on Saturday, November 8th, at 6:30 pm following Mass.

We are still looking/gathering turkeys for this. Our goal is 30-40 turkeys weighing 15-20lbs each. You can place these turkeys in any of the freezers that are labeled for K of C use or keep them at home and bring them in closer to November 8th. Please email me if you buy any turkeys or if you see a good deal on turkeys. We will need volunteers on November 8th to help with things from set up, food prep, BINGO validation, take down, and more. Feel free to email me if you can help.

We also donated to the Thanksgiving Basket program here at St. Tim's to give families extra help and support as the holidays approach. It was also decided that we will be adopting 7-9 people for the Christmas season. More information and further discussions for this will be held at our November meeting.

The next time we meet will be Thursday, November 20th, at 7 pm. Can’t wait to see you all there!

Yours in Christ,
Jenny Resler

Please email Jenny at auxpres@kc5141.org
if you buy any turkeys.

District Box for Joy
A huge thanks to everyone who came out the
evening of October 23rd to help packing for the Box for Joy event. We had 14 helpers and were done in less than an hour. After folding all the boxes, we only ended up packing 75 total boxes. Due to tariffs and increased prices, we barely had enough to fill
these 75 boxes. Thereby falling short 25 boxes of our 100-box goal.

FS Notes
Have you moved, have you changed your phone number, have you made a change to your email address? Please keep the council updated when you have a change of address, change of phone number and finally a change to your email. It really helps us to keep track of where to send things to you. If you have any changes, please forward them onto the FS.

Please look at the back of your membership card. What do you see? It has my contact info. Please make sure your loved ones know this in case you are sick or have passed away.

Former Officers,
The FS is looking for Council Jewels that you may have in your possession. Please turn them in as soon as possible. Bring them to the office at St. Tim’s, we have a mail slot that they can be left in. Thank you.

Members in hospital etc.?
Please contact the FS so that the council can send a card.

Here is a reminder to send me your service hours as often as you would like. Many hours go by each day that we never hear about. Each day we each volunteer our time doing something above and beyond.

Recently another notice was sent out to members who still owe their dues. Please respond to that notice if you are one of those members. We currently have 5 members that need to send in their dues. Early this month you should be getting contacted by one the Trustees.

We Remember
November, we have the Feast Day of All Saints as well as All Souls Day. November is the time set aside to remember all of those who have gone before us. So, this month let us take the time to think and remember all of our members who have passed away. Many of those members held vital roles in our council. Please pray for their souls and or the families they left behind. May they rest in peace. May all Brother Knights from our council rest in peace.
