Grand Knight’s Message
Brother Knights,

It has been a busy month for the Knights. We wrapped up our winter gear collection, hosted a fourth-degree dinner, had our steak fry and monthly meeting on April 10th (our speaker was from Sleep in Heavenly Peace, and they were awesome), our last fish fry of the year was on April 11th, and the ladies state convention was hosted at St Tim’s on April 12th. Finally, we finished our last breakfast of the year on Palm Sunday (April 13th). We also participated in the ministry fair which took place on April 13th.

Thank you to everyone who helped make these events successful.

Today, we grieve for our beloved Pope Francis.
Eternal rest grant unto Francis, O Lord.
And let the perpetual light shine upon him.
And may his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Vivat Jesus!

Congratulations to next year’s officers President Jenny Resler, VP Catherine Rockow, Secretary Carol Kalan, Treasurer Sandy Resler, Trustees Elyssa Bliss, and Kristi LaValle. Installation of officer’s date and time TBD.

This last year has been wonderful thanks to all of your hard work, and support! We had a very successful Turkey BINGO, and more successful bake sales! Thank you to ALL who have helped with all our fundraising for the year!
I have enjoyed being your president these last 3 years and could not have done it without all of your help and guidance! You ladies have taught me much valuable information that will stick with me for life. I appreciate every single one of you for the words of encouragement, kindness, and all of the dedication that you have shown me and this Auxiliary. I could never thank you all enough!
Prayer intentions are for those on the prayer line at St. Tims, all those will health concerns, and everyone with any sort of mental, physical, or any other type of struggle in their life that they may be working through. A special prayer for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis, and for the election of a new Pope.

Special prayers are for those intentions spoken and those held deep within our hearts.

Yours in Christ,
Elyssa Bliss, President

FS Notes
Have you moved, have you changed your phone number, have you made a change to your email address? Please keep the council updated when you have a change of address, change of phone number and finally a change to your email. It really helps us to keep track of where to send things to you. If you have any changes, please forward them onto the FS.

Please look at the back of your membership card. What do you see? It has my contact info. Please make sure your loved ones know this in case you are sick or have passed away.

Former Officers,
The FS is looking for Council Jewels that you may have in your possession. Please turn them in as soon as possible. Bring them to the office at St. Tim’s, we have a mail slot that they can be left in. Thank you.

Members in hospital etc.?
Please contact the FS so that the council can send a card.

Do You Volunteer???
Each year our council files with Supreme a survey report with the amount of time our members spend outside of KC events volunteering.

The list is lengthy, do you help at church, do you deliver meals, do you visit the sick, homebound, do you help a neighbor, I am sure there are many more than that.

What I am asking, is for you to try and keep track of what event it is and how many hours you spend on that event each month.

On the 1st of every month to email me that list and I will include it in the report that I fill out each year. Please email me at fs@kc5141.org. If you don’t have the ability to email me, please call me to share that information. Thank you.
